New York Times - These Chanel posters were used in 1997 on the streets of Paris. Andy Warhol created this design in the 1980's but due to his unexpected early death, the images were not used until much later. Chanel No. 5, possibly the world's most famous perfume, is also an icon of the art world. Its unique bottle was added to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1959.
