A jaunty design by Rene Gruau for the Moulin Rouge cabaret show "Frou Frou" featuring the French cancan "Doris Girls" (aka Doriss Girls) which was a dance troupe founded by Doris Haug (Miss Doris) who in 1957 she joined the Moulin Rouge as Ballet Mistress. A position she held until 1997, thousands of dancers auditioned under her professional eye in hopes of being admitted into the famous Moulin Rouge cast. (Source: Le Moulin Rouge Official)
