Stunning 1984 RE-RELEASE poster for the restored 1927 silent movie directed by Fritz Lang; based on the original novel by Tea von Harbou. Designed by illustrator and graphic designer Tom Nikosey, the poster features an iconic image of the Maschinenmensch (Machine-Person) (who was the inspiration for C3PO in the Star Wars series). The 1984 re-release is particularly significant in that famed music producer and composer Giorgio Moroder restored and produced it, and wrote a new stunning pop soundtrack performed by himself, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Tyler, Jon Anderson, Adam Ant, Cycle V, Loverboy, Billy Squier, and Freddie Mercury.
