This iconic bird's eye poster for Spike Lee's American comedy-drama was created by art director Art Sims and his 11:24 Design company. In 2017 The Smithsonian selected the poster for its permanent collection at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture. At the time 1124 Design, Inc. was the only African American owned ad agency to be recognized for their design work in film advertising by the Smithsonian Institution.
