Fun 1953 uncut printer's sheet. This poster would've been mounted to board and cut-out to create a point-of-purchase display sign for soda shops, ice cream parlors, diners and lunch counters. Artwork by Pennsylvanian artist Albert W Hampson who created many commercial works and POP illustrations along with covers for the Saturday Evening Post and other publications. Artist is known because the original pastel artwork for this was offered at auction in 1996. An archive of his work is housed at the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian.
