1966 release of a 1959 film. Masterful and Rare Czech poster by Karel Teissig. French film, also known as "Le fauve est lâché" or "The Beast is Loose", directed by Maurice Labro, and originally released in 1959. One of the original "retired badass" stories, the movie tells the tale of a former spy turned honest restaurateur, who (like a caged animal released) gets drawn back into a life of crime and gangs. It's a great blend of spy thriller and gangster movie.
