c. 1952 Post-World-War-II Goodyear magazine advertisement predicting a return to rigid airship passenger aircrafts. Goodyear had lofty goals in mind for their blimps after their service in WWII. Some of the additional text tries to reassure the weary reader: "AGAIN and soon, America can bring civilian travelers these luxurious giants of the sky - bigger ones, safer ones, than ever before. For America has the only safe lifting gas - non-inflammable, non-explosive helium." But this dream of commercial air travel via blimp post wwII never came to fruition.
