1814 Very old antique post-Napoleonic Era / Bourbon Restoration letterpress poster advertising a revival (7 years after the first performance) of an opera at the Académie Royale de Musique (Paris Opera) (Royal Academy of Music) that took place on Sunday, May 22, 1814. Le Triomphe de Trajan is a lyric tragedy in three acts. The original opera production was lavish, with choreography by Pierre Gardel and sets by Degotti and his team, designed to celebrate Napoleon's return to Paris.
